    Rocken is Switzerland’s premier job platform, revolutionizing job hunting with cutting-edge technologies and industry-leading expertise. Their mission is clear: modernize hiring processes and elevate industry standards.

    Our collaboration with Rocken began with a simple task – creating a job-listing site and a CRM for Rocken Jobs. Little did we know this partnership would unfold into a saga of innovation, overcoming challenges, and achieving remarkable results. As they say, we’ve come a long way.

    A closer look at the challenge ahead

    We were the catalysts for the birth of Rocken. The founder, who had worked up in a traditional recruiting agency, decided it was time to change the game.

    He aimed to create a space connecting employers and job seekers seamlessly for optimal matches. To achieve that, he aimed to create a platform that helps to connect the dots. The ultimate objective is to streamline communication between employers and job seekers to find the best match in the short term.

    With a handshake and a confident nod, he partnered with Che IT, setting the stage for us to create a job-listing site and CRM system. Fast forward, and this collaboration evolved into Rocken Talent, Rocken Jobs, and Rocken Consulting – all built and supported by Che IT Group.

    Behind the scenes: development process

    Our collaboration commenced with the development of Rocken’s ATS and the Rocken Jobs website on WordPress. What began as a simple job-listing site with a CRM evolved into much more. We delved into restructuring the company, modifying business models, and altering client structures, all while developing a user-friendly interface and streamlining processes.

    A year ago, we revamped the Rocken Jobs landing page. Recognizing a low scroll depth and short time on the home page despite high visits, we updated the design, added filters, showcased top categories, encouraged profile submissions, and highlighted current vacancies and company profiles.

    We’ve temporarily bid adieu to Scrum, transitioning from WordPress to Laravel, facing challenges of a code freeze and rewriting everything. Yet, Che IT Group’s commitment ensured a seamless evolution.

    Beyond coding, we fostered a positive work environment through team bonding, check-ins, and Friday hangouts. PMO Sofia and PO Julia led the charge, ensuring everyone felt valued and heard.

    Performance surge: How the automation helped to skyrocket Rocken’s stats

    As Rocken’s team innovated business models and optimized their company structure, we focused on automating processes and streamlining interactions between candidates, clients, and career consultants.

    The tech stack evolved with the project: Laravel replaced WordPress, Vue.js stepped in for frontend magic, and integrations like Neuralik and Twilio streamlined processes.

    In 2022, we automated several key processes, resulting in an 182% surge in clients, a 1000% share growth, and a 900% jump in interviews. The platform’s performance enhancements significantly impacted the way businesses and candidates interacted.

    In 2023, Roken Jobs experienced a 133% rise in client numbers and a 158% surge in conducted interviews. To further improve the platform’s performance, we are implementing new features and design solutions and strengthening their infrastructure by shifting to Digital Ocean’s storage servers.

    This is not the end!

    The ongoing redesign and functional enhancements represent the next phase. Che IT Group is leading the way, steering Roken toward a future where recruitment is not just a process but an experience.
