As we are running ads for our shop, we would like to track which checkout are coming in from the which ads, so we know if the ads are working

As an Airtable user

I want to see the source of the order

So that helps to analyze the ads campaign and understand the source of the order

Acceptance criteria

Given: ads campaign with the link that included UTMs

When: click in the campaign with this link as example: https://saclab.com/bags/bottega-veneta-jodie-mini-lamb-light-blue/?utm_source=Facebook&utm_medium=Video&utm_campaign=bottega-veneta-jodie-mini-lamb-light-blue&utm_content=somename111
AND buy a bag

Then: save cookies for this buyer with UTMs to the order record https://airtable.com/appYjRuQ4YEFTUwtb/tblwYqc2agIjVEOoE/viwl1816cQ7d7ogBr/rec7WgOY7GoGryNoy?blocks=hide

When: I open an order record in AirTable “Saclab Inventory” > “Orders”

Then: I see these columns in the Airtable:

  • utm_source: The source of the traffic (e.g., Google Ads, Facebook Ads).

  • utm_medium: The marketing medium (e.g., CPC, banner).

  • utm_campaign: The specific campaign name.

  • utm_content: specific ad name
