General info

The Rocken Jobs Publications page includes a search bar for finding vacancies by their name. Users can enter the name of a vacancy and refine their search by selecting a specific city where the vacancies should be located. This feature allows users to quickly locate relevant vacancies that match their criteria.

User story

As a user
I want to search for vacancies by their name and filter by city
So that I can find specific job opportunities in a particular location quickly.

Acceptance Criteria

 

01

Scenario: Search bar display
Given: Publications page is open
When: The page is viewed
Then: The search bar is visible and ready for input.

Scenario: Enter vacancy name
Given: Publications page is open
When: A user types the name of a vacancy in the search bar
AND click icon search or press enter
Then: The search bar captures the input and displays relevant suggestions based on preselected city.

Scenario: Select city filter
Given: Publications page is open
When: A user clicks on the city filter drop-down
Then: A list of cities is displayed for selection.

Scenario: Filter by city
Given: Publications page is open
When: A user selects a city and enters a vacancy name
Then: The search results show only vacancies in the specified city matching the vacancy name.

Scenario: Search functionality without page reload
Given: Publications page is open
When: A user enters a vacancy name and selects a city
Then: The search results are updated without reloading the page.
